Description:

HYBRID schedule. Would need to come into the office for approx 5 hours at least 1x a week (ideally Wednesdays). Other work can be complete either remotely or in person. We are looking for someone who can mostly work during normal business hours (9am-4pm), but we are very flexible and can accommodate many schedule constraints, for example, if someone is in school.

With minimal supervision, participate in the development and implementation of communications initiatives in support of the GSB Centennial and other objectives. Support cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

  • Manage operational tasks that support the creation of strategic multimedia content.
  • Support communications efforts to meet Stanford GSB objectives, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendor partners. May include magazine production, photography, and advertising. Ensure photos and videos are appropriately tagged, uploaded, and archived.
  • Manage Stanford Business email inbox and other regular mailings, including writing and scheduling select communications.
  • Manage select internal communications efforts, including digital signage for faculty and other messaging platforms.
  • Support the planning and execution of podcast episodes, video productions, and photo shoots.
  • Coordinate vendor estimates and invoice processing.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Previous experience in product, program and/or services communications or marketing.
  • Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
  • Experience with managing projects.
  • Knowledge of communications & marketing across channels including digital and print.
  • Familiar with market research and data analysis.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
