Admissions Advisor Responsibilities
- Contact individuals and prospective students via phone or through video conferencing
- Conduct interviews of prospective students to understand their career goals and needs as well as obstacles that might prevent them from continuing their education
- Guide students through the admissions process - responding to questions, linking them to financial aid, and gathering the documents necessary to start school
- Network and build relationships with students to identify new prospective students
- Demonstrate a high level of program knowledge to assist students with his/her questions and to meet specific student recruitment goals
- Manage and update student database, application paperwork and follow up documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Needed
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- Excellent people skills and a drive to form meaningful connections over the phone and in-person
- Self-driven and comfortable making multiple outbound calls per day to generate interest, qualify students and drive the enrollment process.
- 2+ years prior sales/consultative selling experience with consistent track record of meeting and/or exceeding metrics preferred; those who have a customer service background will also be highly considered with the ability to prove they have a past of being persistent in achieving work related goals/duties.
- Passion and enthusiasm for helping and empowering others to succeed.
- Ability to succeed as an individual contributor that can meet deadlines.
- Knowledge in Salesforce is a plus.
