Payroll Processing
- Detail-Oriented: You have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all payroll and benefits tasks

- Analytical: You possess strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly

- Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in using payroll and benefits administration software and have the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Compliance-Focused: You have a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant in all payroll and benefits matters

Payroll Processing
- Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees in liaison with our payroll partner
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll information to the partner
- Collate information regarding bonuses, variables and incentives if any from respective internal stakeholders
- Process payroll deductions and withholdings
- Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related issues
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, mandatory statutory benefits (PF, ESI, Stat Bonus etc) and other voluntary benefits (VPF)
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Communicate benefits information to employees and answer any questions
- Liaise with benefits providers and brokers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
- Verify payroll tax filings and reports, statutory contributions and corrections
- Maintain accurate records of employee payroll and benefits information
- Generate reports related to payroll, benefits, and other HR metrics
- Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to payroll and benefits
- Conduct periodic benefits audits and reconciliation
- Maintain and update payroll and benefits systems
- Ensure data integrity within payroll and benefits software
- Collaborate with respective internal stakeholders to improve system functionalities
- Bachelor's degree or Masters in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., GreytHR/DarwinBox/Workday/Bamboo etc) and benefits administration platforms
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment: Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Google sheets (must have)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus not mandatory
