Director, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Effectively mentor, grow and build a highly productive team of cloud infrastructure Dev Ops engineers, Database administrators, infrastructure specialists and desktop specialists
• Work with CTO to establish and manage infrastructure budget
• Work closely with application development and other stakeholders to define project scope and establish plans for infrastructure
• Evaluate and establish project priorities, develop goals and objectives, and maintain compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
• Manage the team to ensure systems up-time and performance SLAs
• Work closely with End User computing support specialists to ensure helpdesk SLAs
• Work with Managed Service provider to maintain Cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure
• Work with infrastructure service provider and internal specialists to monitor and remedy security concerns in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Closely monitor cloud infrastructure costs and take necessary cost control measures in collaboration with Development teams.
• Manage daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, networks, server resources, storage systems, and key processes.
• Ensure business continuity for day-to-day operations.
• Work with network infrastructure specialist to QC daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up.
• Audit Network, firewalls, end point protection on regular basis to ensure compliance
• Work with EUC specialists for Office 365 management including Exchange.
• Work with vendors to manage network security and connectivity in corporate office.
• Coordinate with third-party providers / vendors regarding the extension of services and facilitates change and issue resolution with third parties.
• Ensure OS patches and upgrades are applied on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
• Work with application development teams and Database Administrators to ensure up-time and performance commitments.
• Manage network firewall, Antivirus, and Web filtering devices, SSL certificates, and PGP encryption.
• Manage both Windows and Linux based systems.

Required Expertise

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience, training or coursework.
• Minimum seven (7) years progressively responsible work experience with the duties and responsibilities described above
• Ability to learn new technologies and implement
• CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, Azure, AWS cloud practitioner. (preferred)
• Knowledge of networking, virtualization, server maintenance.
• AWS and Azure cloud experience or certifications, Azure Sentinel, Defender experience required.
• Must have worked with Zscaler, PING Identity, Auth0
• Must have installed and managed web application infrastructures and containerized applications
• Ability to administer servers, network, and security both physical and virtual.
• Ability to create, maintain, and update documentation pertaining to processes.
• Ability to conduct network architecture, analysis, and design.
• Ability to perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Ability to keep IT informed of system and operational data center / cloud issues.
• Ability to work remotely
• Ability to remotely manage help desk employees
• SOCII or HITRUST experience preferred
