Job Summary:
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise in building services to manage various innovative projects across the United States and globally. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and design team members within a skilled team environment.
- Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, site reports, and schedules across multiple projects within the electrical domain.
- Coordinate with utility companies and manage the acquisition of electrical permits.
- Develop technical and financial proposals for new projects.
- Manage and verify the quality of work produced by Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
- Oversee preliminary engineering and detailed design solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications and monitor financial performance of projects.
- Inform senior staff about critical service/design decisions ensuring client objectives are met.
- Mentor junior Electrical Engineers and manage workload to ensure timely project delivery.
- Uphold company policies and ensure compliance with current legislation and building codes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services and construction sectors.
- Experience in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and Stadiums preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is desirable.
- LEED AP accreditation preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit and familiar with electrical analysis and lighting design software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, including experience presenting to C-suite level stakeholders.
- Capable of preparing detailed technical reports directly for clients.
