Job Summary:

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise in building services to manage various innovative projects across the United States and globally. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and design team members within a skilled team environment.
  • Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, site reports, and schedules across multiple projects within the electrical domain.
  • Coordinate with utility companies and manage the acquisition of electrical permits.
  • Develop technical and financial proposals for new projects.
  • Manage and verify the quality of work produced by Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
  • Oversee preliminary engineering and detailed design solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications and monitor financial performance of projects.
  • Inform senior staff about critical service/design decisions ensuring client objectives are met.
  • Mentor junior Electrical Engineers and manage workload to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Uphold company policies and ensure compliance with current legislation and building codes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services and construction sectors.
  • Experience in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and Stadiums preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is desirable.
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiar with electrical analysis and lighting design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, including experience presenting to C-suite level stakeholders.
  • Capable of preparing detailed technical reports directly for clients.
