Job Description

This role is for an Order to Cash Lead Consultant assigned to the Demand Management Scrum Team as part of the A&D is a very knowledgeable client looking to modernize their multiple legacy SAP implementations. The successful candidate will lead design discussions, provide demos, manage design decisions, and bring those designs about in the project technical landscape. The candidate will take direction from the Integrated Product Planning Team Consulting Lead and the Project Solution Architect.

The successful candidate will be asked to support the creation of technical specifications, provide cross-application guidance across Order to Cash, Plan to Perform and Plan to Stock value streams and be able to demonstrate the planning processes in the Customer SAP S4/HANA systems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Subject matter expertise in SAP S/4HANA Contract through Sales Order Creation in a Project Network Planning, Make to Stock Demand Planning, and Production and Capacity Planning using environment using core SAP S/4 tools with demonstrated application to the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
  • Provide expertise on the integration of a third party SIOP system (Kinaxis) to S/4HANA.
  • Ability to Create Complex Manufacturing scenarios driving demand/scheduling from Network Activities (next release).
  • Be able to suggest S4/HANA automations and innovations that are applicable to the business processes in the value stream.
  • Support data migration discussions with respect to Project Network Planning, and MTS Demand Planning using WBS elements. Knowledge of MRP is a must.
  • Support the documentation and delivery of design artifacts, for processes, and the supporting needed S4/HANA technical realization.
  • Responsible for identifying functional & technical requirements that may customize the Out of the Box S4/HANA and document requirements in the selected toolsets (e.g. Signavio, Confluence, Focus Build)
  • Be able to lead follow-up data discussions as identified from stakeholder (process owners) workshops.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience with defining and implementing Demand Management driving Contract and Sales Order Demand within Project Managed financials:
    • Contract and Sales Order creation with respect to:
      • Parameter Effectivity
      • PMMO (replacement of GPD)
      • Demand Driven linked to Network Activities
      • Demand Driven MRP
  • Familiarity with the following is desired:
    • Knowledge of MRP driven by Sales Orders linked to Projects.
    • Basic knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning
    • Distribution and close out of the demand to the Contract.
    • Delivery Creation
