Job Description:
Responsible for the configuration, exploitation, and support of technology solutions within Supply Chain Planning, which includes primary focus of the SAP APO modules and IBP, and a secondary focus on Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, and Materials Management modules in S/4.
Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary IT contact for Supply Chain Planning projects, process/system development, support and future functionality needs related to assigned modules.
  • Maintains a good understanding of business processes supported by the assigned modules, coordinate, and maintain close alignment with business users of the applications to plan for changes to the software and to ensure it continues to support the business processes into the future.
  • Develops technical specifications for application development of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and/or forms (RICEF)
  • Supports the technical maintenance of applications.
  • Develops system integrations and provides technology options for moving data between systems.
  • Ensures all technical application issues from customer support are resolved.
  • Supports the group manager on solution strategy and application infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Leads technical projects with understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Adheres to change management, coding standards and other IT internal controls.
  • Mentors junior team members as needed.
  • Participates in planning and managing the installation of new and interim releases of SAP and other software.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in IT
  • Hands-on experience participating in IT Projects directly related to the implementation and support of SAP APO modules Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
  • 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning (DP)
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Network Planning (SNP)
  • 1+ years of experience in Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
  • Exposure and experience with a company s end-to-end supply chain process. Experience with order fulfillment to end customer from the manufacturing location to delivery.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated aptitude to investigate complex technical and business problems in detail, to diagnose and provide effective and efficient alternatives.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to proactively collaborate within teams of IT and business resources to accomplish established goals.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and issues in a concise manner (oral/written) to different audiences. Ability to clearly communicate with customers, peers, and upper management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in information systems, computer science, supply chain, or related discipline
  • Proficient in SAP modules Global Available to Promise (GATP) or Advanced Available To Promise (aATP)
  • Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology and procedures with minimal of two (2) complete state project Implementations within SAP APO modules
  • Strong understanding of integration between SAP modules (e.g., APO, IBP, BW, SD, MM, PP)
