Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4 HANA Technical Architect to take on the role of Integration and Development Manager. In this critical position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications. You will lead the technical strategy and execution for SAP projects, ensuring seamless integration, optimized performance, and alignment with business goals.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements Technical Architecture, Design & Platform Management:

• Develop and maintain the overall SAP technical architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT strategy.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems
• Manage SAP landscapes, including production, development, and test environments.
• Define and implement cutover strategy.
• Plan and execute Feature Pack Stack (FPS), and Support Pack Stack (SPS) in alignment with S/4 HANA release cycle.
• Define and implement system archiving processes to optimize system performance and storage utilization.
• Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during system changes by following best practices for system administration.

Integration Management

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of SAP integration projects, including middleware and API s.
• Oversee the integration of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD) with third-party systems, cloud services, and other applications.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across integrated systems.

Development Management

• Lead the SAP basis administrators, development team, providing guidance on best practices in ABAP, Fiori/UI5 development, and other SAP technologies.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, ensuring the team meets operational goals and project deadlines.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support of custom solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of enhancements, reports, forms, and workflows within SAP environments.

Project Leadership

• Serve as the technical lead for SAP projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage resources, timelines, and deliverables to achieve project objectives.

Performance Optimization

• Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP systems and integrations, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.
• Implement best practices for system performance, including load balancing, database tuning, and network optimization.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure that SAP systems and integrations comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and data protection protocols.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for SAP integration and development matters.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, business users, and executives.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve SAP system performance, functionality, and integration capabilities.
• Lead initiatives to modernize the SAP landscape, including cloud migration, S/4HANA adoption, and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP technical architecture, integration, and development.
• Strong expertise in foundational and integration technologies (e.g., BASIS, ABAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP PI/PO, CPI).
• Proven experience in leading SAP integration projects, including middleware and interface development.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP system architecture, databases, networking, and security.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, SAP Cloud Platform), SAP Cloud ALM and SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Business Process Monitoring with Signavio is plus.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP certification(s) in relevant areas is a plus.

Physical Demands

• This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. This role may need to access areas within the building that are undergoing renovations which may contain jobsite hazards. Occasionally this role will required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
