Over the last 30 years, Steve Madden and its diffusion brands have expanded into a true lifestyle destination for fashion from head to toe. We are seeking a Wholesale Marketing Manager to support wholesale marketing strategy and initiatives for the brands under our umbrella. This role will require creation and implementation of seasonal campaign planning for our retail partners including co-op brand and digital marketing campaigns, in-store lifestyle experience, content development, and management of co-op budgets specific to each.

This role requires a passion for digital marketing, business acumen, the ability to synthesize data while having a nose for good creative, and managing key stakeholders across the business. This person will report to Senior Director, Wholesale Marketing and work within a heavy cross functional matrix.

Responsibilities To Include

  • Be responsible for the implementation of wholesale marketing strategy across key wholesale partners including advertising campaigns, content marketing, product launches, in-store events, and other key business priorities across wholesale.
  • Develop go-to-market plans in collaboration with leadership and wholesale accounts including paid social, digital media, in-store activations, print, sales programs and other marketing activations.
  • Ownership of co-op content calendars, creative needs, marketing plans, and innovation, with an “always on” approach to lifestyle marketing for customers
  • Collaboration with key accounts teams and digital media/influencer teams to ensure business needs are prioritized and promoted accordingly across all channels
  • Seasonal planning for photoshoots in collaboration with accounts, creative, and product teams
  • Day to day liaison between Steven Madden, Ltd and retailer marketing teams to ensure collaboration and execution of overall marketing strategy
  • Strategic analysis of co-op performance and seasonal presentation to upper management to inform future campaigns
  • Manage marketing brief development and project timeline management
  • Support the planning and execution of Seasonal Sales Meetings
  • Other projects and duties may be assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in field or brand capacity, ideally in footwear or fashion; women’s category focus a big ++
  • Strong presentation skills along with previous key account management experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in ecommerce and paid digital marketing is helpful
  • Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
  • Ability to persuade, influence and build consensus among key stakeholders
  • You’re a self-starter, who is at home with a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment. You have a strong work ethic and have a level of passion for footwear, apparel, and lifestyle
  • Strong business acumen
  • Travel may be required

Salary Range: The pay range of this position is $90,000 - $100,000. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate’s skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefit
