Key Responsibilities

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

  • Designing and guiding the development of ETL pipelines utilizing Apache NiFi and Java Spring Boot to process and integrate extensive datasets from diverse sources.
  • Leveraging your expertise in Java programming, Spring Boot, and AWS Big Data technologies like Redshift and Athena to construct scalable data solutions.
  • Enhancing the performance and scalability of existing ETL scripts.
  • Working collaboratively with data scientists and machine learning engineers to facilitate data preparation for modeling and analysis.
  • Generating and maintaining comprehensive data documentation, which includes database design, configuration, and performance reports.
  • Upholding data integrity, security, and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and fostering continuous learning.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.
  • Proficiency in Java and Java Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Redshift, Athena, and Big Data technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience for Bachelor's degree holders or no experience for Master's degree holders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Previous experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or other federal healthcare programs is advantageous.
