Persistent Systems is growing. We are seeking a Workplace Experience Manager to join our team. The Workplace Experience Manager will be an essential part of Persistent Systems team and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies relating to the delivery of a best-in-class experience for the company’s clients, and visitors, whether remote or in-person, while engaging with the Leadership Team, Management, Human Resources, Facilities, IT and Marketing to deliver quality, customer-focused service to the office. This role will be based in our Manhattan, NYC office.

Position Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class workplace services, balancing cost and business needs to create, support and scale our workplace experiences in our NYC office
  • Serve as primary POC for customer visits and company events taking place in the NYC office
  • Work with company stakeholders hosting onsite events, such as all-hands sales meetings, to ensure their time in our space is truly remarkable
  • Support the end-to-end management of the workplace lifecycle, reception, vendor management, employee events, catering, partner with Facilities team on building, OSHA, safety / contingency planning
  • Providing expert-level subject matter knowledge to deliver integrated WE solutions across the company
  • Craft an exceptional office experience for all visitors– including candidates, guests, and internal teams
  • Design inspiring, immersive, and purpose-driven experiences that align with our company's mission of “networking the battlefield, connectivity drives mission success”
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Human Resources, IT, Facilities, Training, Executive Assistants, etc.) to streamline office functionalities and event execution
  • Support the management and execution of employee engagement programs, including Foodie Friday’s, cooking competitions, Bring-Your-Kid-to-Work days and more
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure office branding is in line with Persistent Systems’ mission, vision and values
  • Serve as the ambassador and primary day to day contact for our NYC office, by providing the in-office services and solutions that support occupancy and increase employee engagement and productivity
  • Coordinate event setups and provide hands-on support during events
  • Engage the Persistent Systems population by providing support for experiences outside the office (sales team offsites, technical exchange meetings, reseller meetings, boat cruises and parties)
  • Act as the face of the company for internal engagements by marketing and communicating what is happening in the NYC office
  • Regularly update office calendars to include all upcoming events, guest visits and onsite engagements so employees have visibility into what is taking place in the office across certain dates
  • Manage our front of house team, including receptionists. Assist in front desk operations when receptionist is out
  • Be prepared to “jump in” and assist as needed, maintaining a hands-on grass roots approach to delivering exceptional service
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team

Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be onsite in our 26th street New York City office 5 days a week.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent; a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in leading workplace experience, workplace operations or comparable role for a greater NYC Metropolitan employer, preferably within the tech/startup industry
  • Believes in and knows what it means to be the “Company Ambassador” - has a strong passion for workplace culture and customer service
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • Flexible approach with superb interpersonal skills
  • Space management experience
  • Highly organized with an attention to details and ability to multitask
  • A high degree of independent judgment and discretion to identify, diagnose, and solve problems while taking a team approach to daily office operations
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications and Teams
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Must have a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance

Total compensation for this role can vary from $100,000 to $130,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
