A highly regarded behavioral health training, implementation, and consulting organization is searching for a Project Manager – Associate committed to advancing the knowledge, skills, and practices of professionals in the field. Our organization offers comprehensive training programs, consultation services, and resources to support the delivery of high-quality behavioral health care. As an Associate in our organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our training and consulting initiatives, driving excellence and innovation in the field.

Job Summary: Working under the direct supervision of the Director of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative Project, as an Associate – Project, you will provide crucial support to our training and consulting projects. Using your subject matter expertise and knowledge in the field, you will assist in the planning, design, coordination, and execution and monitoring of various initiatives and projects, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for behavioral health will be instrumental in facilitating positive change in the field and supporting the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities

Project Support:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination and design of training and implementation programs and consultation engagements.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Co-develop training materials, resources, and toolkits with other project team members. Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
  • Support project activities, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines, and quality improvement and control expectations.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and mitigating potential risks or issues
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide support to internal teams, external partners customers, and participants.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communication teams to promote training programs and consultation services.
  • Foster positive business relationships with trainers, consultants, and subject matter experts.

Resource Management & Program Delivery

  • Support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based training and consulting services aligned with industry standards.
  • Help identify and allocate appropriate resources for projects, including trainers, consultants, and training materials.
  • Utilizing deep understanding of project needs and resources, support the procurement of necessary materials and resources, ensuring their availability and timely delivery.
  • Co-facilitate training sessions, learning collaboratives, workshops, and consultation engagements, demonstrating expertise and engaging participants.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance program quality and participant outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, research, and best practices in behavioral health.ent.
  • Maintain accurate records of project resources, outcomes, evaluations, and expenses.
  • Assist or oversee scheduling and logistics coordination for training sessions and consultation engagements.

Documentation And Evaluation

  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, training materials, learning collaborative session and office hour notes, participant lists, and evaluation forms.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health) or equivalent experience.

Minimum of three years prior experience working in public behavioral health system, preferred.

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the behavioral health or training field.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to co-develop and co-facilitate trainings and learning collaboratives.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of or interest in behavioral health concepts, best practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Skills And Abilities

  • Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Understanding and experience with implementing Evidence-Based Practices and or Community- Defined Evidence Practices.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, group facilitation, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with administration or delivery of direct services.
  • Must have knowledge of the California public behavioral health systems.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and ability to develop and implement project plans.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite applications, virtual meeting platforms, Survey Monkey, various databases, and relevant software applications.
  • Ability to travel within State and occasionally nationally, including air travel and overnight stays.
