Job Responsibilities And Duties

The Senior Manager of Integrated Services will be responsible to lead and drive the Service, Finance, Information, Technology, Legal, Procurement and Analytics to ensure implementation of corporate strategy. The successful candidate will design and integrate the cross -functional financial systems, processes, and solutions as well as provide strategic direction and advice to enable the achievement of business objectives and goals and sustainability of the business's health.

Ongoing Accountabilities

  • Develop a financial strategy and operating model with the appointed leadership team.
    • Lead and drive the Finance disciplines and teams to achieve operational strategic objectives and ensure adoption of appropriate group reporting requirements
    • Provide strategic direction for the Finance discipline to meet short to medium term business requirements. Exercise effective strategic leadership on the Financial Discipline by being able to operationalize the vision and mission of the organization into realistic and challenging operational plans with sound and visible controls
    • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting initiatives
    • Strategic Alignment and Support: Align integrated services functions (Legal, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Analytics) with the overarching strategic goals and objectives of business and outlined in the business plan. This involves understanding the core business operations and ensuring that all supporting functions are geared towards facilitating and enhancing those operations efficiently and effectively
    • Risk Management and Compliance: Oversee legal and regulatory compliance across operations in the United States and Mexico. This includes managing risks associated with procurement, financial transactions, data management, and legal obligations. Ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
    • Financial Management and Optimization: Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support growth and sustainability. This involves optimizing financial processes, managing cash flow, mitigating financial risks, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation
    • Technology and Information Management: Leading the IT function to develop and maintain robust information systems and technology infrastructure to support business operations. This includes implementing innovative solutions for data management, analytics, and communication to enhance efficiency, productivity, and decision-making across the organization
    • Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Overseeing procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of resources and materials required for operations. This involves establishing strategic partnerships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing supply chain processes
    • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence: Leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to derive insights and drive informed decision-making across the organization. This includes analysing operational data, identifying trends, forecasting demand, supporting the business KPIs and optimizing resource allocation to improve overall business performance
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitating collaboration and communication between enabling services functions and other departments within the organization. This involves fostering a culture of teamwork, living the ICAREA values, sharing best practices, and aligning efforts towards common goals to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage and review the cross-functional integration of financial systems, processes and solutions aligned to accepted strategy and models and provide direction related to best practices
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Manage and oversee risks and threats identified and provide direction related to the best approach to mitigate risks and threats
  • Initiate and manage interventions to realize opportunities for growth
  • Monitor interventions geared for growth to direct and influence realistic outcomes and expectations
  • Aid and support senior leadership teams related to long-term planning and forecasting
  • Plan strategically to improve overall business performance and align the Finance strategy with the business strategy, goals, and objectives
  • Approve Business Unit budgets in conjunction with Segment management team
  • Review and approve Capital budgets in conjunction with Segment management team
  • Scan, research and drive implementation of appropriate technology
  • Integrate safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control measures into the integrated services architecture to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with standards
  • Review and ensure QEH&S Management System document control, procedures, and activities are current and representative of Integrated Services roles and responsibilities
  • Manage the labor and finances for Integrated Services to achieve organizational objectives
  • Responsible for the identification, analysis, quantification and management of operational risks and threats
Qualifications And Skills

Technical Competencies:

  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Able to analyze and interpret data and make data driven decision
  • Sound knowledge of operational risk management and mitigation practices and principles
  • Understanding of the principles of Talent Management and the impact on the organization

  • Drive culture of continuous improvement though new innovations within the Engineering environment
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility operations, efficiency, and sustainability. This may involve implementing best practices, adopting new technologies, and benchmarking performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation
  • Implement a comprehensive reporting system that tracks leading and lagging indicators of operational performance
  • Analyze data to identify trends, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for enhancement
  • Lead and drive cost saving and cash conservation initiatives.

Stakeholder Relations & Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization and externally at all levels and cross-functionality
  • Ensure open communication channels with all relevant stakeholder
  • Broaden network and relationships with banking institutions, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other key service providers
  • Collaborate with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes
  • Provide leadership in terms of strategic integration and alignment, specialist advice, and guidance and the creation of an operational support culture by conducting regular engagements with teams
  • Engage with industry role players when required
  • Sourcing, contracting, and negotiating with service providers

People Management

  • Performance Management:
    • Provide leadership and inspire team members towards high performance
    • Manage performance and development of reporting staff
    • Set the specific operation's discipline performance targets and criteria that align with organizational goals for the team
  • Employee Relations:
    • Drive the organization culture and climate within the business unit and engineer a team to ensure achievement of organizational objectives and employee safety
  • Training and Development:
    • Mentor individuals to enhance their knowledge, skills, values, and attitude
    • Create opportunities for development through participation and involvement in new business or technology enhancement projects for team members
    • Provide coaching to team members on an ongoing basis
Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Master's Degree will be advantageous
  • 12 years' experience in a manufacturing or processing environment of which 7 years should have been at a senior management level or experience in a functional/specialist area
  • Medically fit to work in the specific business area
  • Clear security screening record
  • Be a US Citizen, US permanent resident, or Classified as a protected person
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Dynamic leader and strong financial background is a must
