Service Desk Contractor – Enterprise Services, Information Technology
- Work onsite 2 days a week // 16 hours a week in Dallas, TX
- Work onsite 1 day a week // 8 hours in Portland, OR
Cvent’s IT Service Desk is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving internal employee’s technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Work with members of our IT Service Desk to troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues
- Minimize Cventers’ downtime due to technical issues
- Research and document solutions
- Maintain hardware inventory for your corresponding office.
- Desk setups
- Assist with asset inventory, auditing, and reporting.
- Work with our AV team to maintain conference room hardware / software.
- Deliver stellar customer service to our end-users
Requirements:
- Technical support experience
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills – the ability to hunt down a problem and find a solution.
- Great teamwork and communication skills (written & verbal).
- Great customer service skills.
- Self-sufficient – ability to research problems and find solutions independently.

Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk/twist/bend/reach for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs and push/pull 250lbs.
- Must follow all good housekeeping and best practices: work environment must be kept clean
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills

- Must be self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry
- Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions with minimal assistance
