Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer with strong experience in API development and data integration to join our team. The role involves creating APIs to onboard data into CEDAR, using the Control Measurement Model to ensure accuracy and compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the TPC team to build APIs that allow clients to securely retrieve policy information, mappings, and other sensitive data. Additionally, the role requires close coordination with the TPC team to ensure any metrics or data created go through their processes to maintain a single source of truth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs for onboarding data into the CEDAR platform using Talend.
• Implement the Control Measurement Model when loading new data to ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the TPC team to build APIs for clients to securely access policy information, mappings, and other sensitive data.
• Ensure all metrics or data created for clients are processed through the TPC team to maintain a single, reliable source of truth.
• Perform data mapping and transformation as required to support seamless data integration and onboarding processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues and ensure APIs are optimized for performance and security.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience working with Talend in a data integration and API development role.
• Proven experience in creating and managing APIs for data onboarding and integration into platforms like CEDAR.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and experience implementing control measurement models for data quality.
• Familiarity with working alongside teams responsible for data policy, security, and compliance (e.g., TPC).
• Experience handling sensitive data and building secure data access solutions for clients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with CEDAR or similar data platforms.
• Prior experience in data mapping and managing complex data transformations.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security practices related to sensitive data handling.
