Job Description:

Eligibility: Only EAD//Citizens no sponsorships.

Summary:

  • Collaborate with tech and business teams to gather data requirements.
  • Experience with data warehousing and implementing data hubs/marts.
  • Build scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation from sources like Flat Files, SQL, AWS RDS, S3 into Snowflake.
  • Hands-on with ingestion, transformation, and database tech.
  • Proficient in SQL, complex queries, and optimization.
  • Create unit/integration tests and manage automated deployments.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain production systems.
  • Update user stories and engage in agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, QA, and team members.

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years in ETL development using DBT.
  • 4+ years with SQL and Snowflake.
  • 1+ year of practical experience with Git and Python.
  • Strong communication skills in collaborative settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ELT using Matillion, DBT, and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with AWS and Control M.
  • Ability to code complex transformations in DBT.

Typical Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years in data engineering.
  • BS in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
