Position Overview

This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining subject matter expertise for process and technology in a client-consulting environment of our organization. The Consultant will deliver end-to-end solutions for our customers, addressing the requirements for both process design and technical architecture.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Design, build & deploy business-outcome driven solutions, focused on designing processes which solve customer problems, are repeatable, accelerate value and employ process best practices and standards
  • Drive Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) process definition, improvement and perform gap analysis of the AS-IS/TO-BE processes. Identify solutions from a People/Process/Technology perspective during workshops with customers and stakeholders, generating the required outputs to the level required for the subsequent stages of the engagement.
  • Identify areas of SPM process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) & recommend solutions that detail pros, cons & risks.
  • Manage & communicate SPM process and business requirements ensuring that proposed solutions meet customers expectations.
  • Guide & deliver successful implementation of the to/be processes by partnering with other members of the project team.
  • Lead clients in their efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow functional capabilities and improve their SPM processes.
  • Complete, develop & improve required documentations, such as process flow diagrams, roles/responsibilities, workshop agendas, presentations, gap analysis reports, etc.
  • Ensure process related deliverables to Customer Delivery and customers are complete, consistent, high quality & on time.
  • Promote continuous process improvement practices through process metrics/KPIs, dashboards and role accountabilities.
  • Invest and maintain expertise in SPM product process capabilities, features and complimentary processes
  • Collaborate and contribute to the creation, deployment and maintenance of process best practices and standards.
  • Be an active participant and contributor and thought leader in Communities of Excellence (in Community) that provides mentoring, implementation support, maturity maps and continual improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or equivalent technical/business experience.
  • Certifications such as ServiceNow Administrator, Scrum/Agile/Scaled Agile, PMP/CAPM/Prince 2 are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years experience implementing SPM programs at large customers; or leading SPM/APM programs at large customers. Including tools such as ServiceNow, Planview, Clarity, etc.
  • Experience with enterprise software implementations for large organizations.
  • Experience leading project workshops & gathering requirements for implementation.
  • Proven track record in influencing decision-making leadership teams at all levels (CIOs, CFOs, VPs of Finance, IT Directors, etc.).
  • Experience in providing technical guidance to stakeholders.
  • Ability in interacting with and influencing cross-functional teams across a wide number of ServiceNow departments.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, organizational & time management skills.
