Piper Companies is seeking a Business Data Analyst (Loan Servicing) to join one of the nation's largest premier credit unions based in Mclean, VA . The Business Data Analyst will analyze loan performance metrics and create interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA!

Responsibilities of the Business Data Analyst include:
  • Analyze and preprocess financial data from Experian and FICO to meet diverse requirements.
  • Develop and manage credit policies for various credit tiers.
  • Monitor application origination processes, including approval and funding rates.
  • Analyze loan performance metrics such as charge-off rates and delinquency rates.
  • Create and implement interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools.
  • Optimize report scheduling and ensure data accessibility and actionability.
  • Price consumer loans utilizing historical data and analyzing competitive market rates.
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Perform comprehensive data analysis in loan origination and servicing.
  • Utilize multiple data sources including Snowflake, Hive, SQL, and Excel.

Qualifications for the Business Data Analyst include:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Proficiency in R, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau Prep.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation for the Business Data Analyst include:
  • Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 -- $40/hr - $45/hr
  • Full benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Flexible work schedule
