Sr. Cyber Engagement Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Cyber Engagement Manager to join a premier cybersecurity consulting firm. The Sr. Cyber Engagement Manager will lead project teams consisting of incident responders analyzing forensic evidence such as logs, malware, and network data, and help clients securely recover from cyber-attacks.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Cyber Engagement Manager include:

• Serve as a first responder to cyber-attacks, running triage calls with clients to understand the scope of the incident.
• Working with clients to ensure that incidents are contained.
• Overseeing a team of forensic analysts investigating the incident.
• Providing both subject matter expertise and project management experience to serve as the "point person" for client engagements.
• Recommending and documenting specific counter-measures and mitigating controls.
• Assisting with scoping prospective engagements, participating in engagements from kickoff through full remediation, and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Identifying, marketing, and developing new business opportunities.
• Build and develop relationships with the various stakeholders involved in a cyber incident, from the victims themselves to lawyers and insurance professionals.

Qualifications for the Sr. Cyber Engagement Manager include:

• 5+ years of experience in incident response, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with forensic analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of cyber threat actors and mitigation strategies.
• Experience in developing and delivering presentations to technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Compensation for the Sr. Cyber Engagement Manager includes:

• Salary: $165,000 - $180,000 + Bonus
