Geodesicx, Inc. is searching for a Computer Network Architect, Journeyman to join our team.

Location:

Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) California, MD, and Remote Locations.

Contract Summary:

Position is contingent on imminent award. This role supports the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems under a new government contract aimed at enhancing network architectures for diverse SOF systems. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and maintaining secure, efficient, and integrated network solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot network architecture to support SOF C5ISR systems.
  • Collaborate with senior architects to integrate new technologies, ensuring network reliability and security.
  • Maintain and update network infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with government IT requirements and security standards.
  • Support network documentation and compliance with security regulations and standards.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with 7 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network design and implementation, or 7 years with an Associate s degree.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software systems.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance within 90 days of contract award.

Desired Skills:

  • Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
  • Experience with DoD network environments and security practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
