Job Description:

Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single-family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a Loan Application Specialist to join our growing team.

In This Role You Will
  • Provide detailed and accurate daily reports to management
  • Maintain and audit a variety of spreadsheets and report any exceptions to management
  • Contact borrowers, investors, insurance companies on an ongoing basis to help ensure loans close on time
  • Obtain reports need for verification purposes from third party sites
  • Maintain a filing system for open and closed loan files to allow all employees to easily find files without assistance
  • Create borrower files and ensure the documents added are correctly titled
  • Complete additional administrative tasks assigned by management in a timely manner

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience – Preferably in the Financial industry
  • Experience maintaining and updating detailed electronic filing systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce is a plus
