We now need a results-driven Senior Workday HCM Analyst to join our HR Technology team.
The Senior Workday Analyst will play a critical part in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing solutions and enabling the continued growth of the client.
In this role you will:



  • Lead the configuration efforts for new and existing Workday functionality to provide maximum efficiency and effectiveness for SA employee and HR needs;

  • Guide others regarding Workday configuration changes to support the managing of employee information changes (transfers, promotions, demotions, terminations, etc.), payroll and benefits updates, and changing information in appropriate systems;

  • Work with functional team members to understand requirements and communicate system capabilities/limitations;

  • Collaborate with key partners to create requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases;

  • Take ownership in the development, testing configuration, and implementation of new projects, enhancements, and interfaces of new Workday modules including collaborate with Success Academy IT and support third party implementation and HR vendors;

  • Diagnose and resolve issues (e.g. end-user, work process, security, etc.);

  • Maintain proper documentation to satisfy Success Academy audit controls and compliance practices;

  • Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting from the Workday HCM application;

  • Create a true Workday HCM analytics capability for Success Academy;

  • Lead major Workday releases;

  • Identify impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release and direct regression testing.


MUST HAVE:



  • 4+ years Workday Business Process, Workday Reporting and/or configurations experience;

  • Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM and at least one other functional area: Benefits, Recruiting, Leave Management, Compensation or Talent;

  • Solid project management skills that will help you track upcoming, ongoing, and past work product;

  • Experience using complex computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends. Ability to analyze the data and articulate what data trends mean. Demonstrated experience with creation of evaluation tools, data analysis and reporting is preferred.

  • Proactively identifies and assesses problems based on data trends, and utilizes available resources to implement and communicate efficient solutions, assess outcomes, and make necessary adjustments.

  • Views unknown situations with a critical lens, and welcomes frequent change and ambiguity.

  • Experience in Workday report writing and dashboards is highly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
