Position Overview:
Are you passionate about transforming business requirements into efficient, scalable document composition applications? As an OpenText Exstream Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing solutions that streamline document creation and output management. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of document composition applications using OpenText Exstream.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective, scalable solutions.
• Develop and modify Exstream templates, workflows, and scripts to meet business needs while optimizing for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document generation and output, ensuring seamless solutions for users.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and best practices during all stages of development.
• Provide expert-level technical support and training to end-users and team members as required.
• Stay updated on the latest OpenText Exstream enhancements and related technologies, implementing best practices for process improvement.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring quality, security, and maintainability of all developed solutions.
• Document development processes, procedures, and share best practices for continual optimization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with OpenText Exstream development, including template creation, workflow configuration, and script modifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot document generation issues.
• Solid understanding of document composition, output management, and digital transformation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts and project managers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with code reviews, testing, and implementing best practices in software development.
• Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and integrate improvements into ongoing projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of other document generation tools and output management systems.
• Familiarity with data integration and automation tools used in document workflows.
• Previous experience in an Agile development environment.
