Job Description:

DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and containerization. This role involves managing scalable, high-performance systems, integrating user interfaces (UI) with databases, and optimizing application performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, operations, and UI teams to design and implement reliable infrastructure and ensure smooth application deployment.

Responsibilities:

• AWS Infrastructure Management
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures in AWS.
• Optimize and automate infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS-based applications, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
• Kubernetes and Containerization
• Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent)
• Deploy, scale, and manage Docker containers across multiple environments.
• Implement auto-scaling, service discovery, and container security practices.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation.
• UI and Database Integration:
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate UIs with databases.
• Design and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB).
• Ensure secure and efficient data flow between application layers.
• APIs Development and Integration:
• Design, develop, and manage APIs for backend services, ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems.
• Implement best practices for API versioning, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of third-party services.
• Performance Optimization:
• Monitor and optimize application performance (both backend and frontend) through tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in infrastructure, database, and APIs.
• Ensure high throughput, low-latency systems by fine-tuning infrastructure and services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing and deploying AWS-based infrastructures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and integration with front-end UIs.
• Proficient in API design, development, and integration with a focus on security and scalability.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
