JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Sr SAP Architect with functional experience with Configuration of SAP S/4Hana, Finance, Payment Gateways, etc. This will include GL, AP, AR, Invoicing, etc. experience. This is a client-side Architect that has taken part in a SAP implementation.
As our SAP Architect you will oversee the implementation and management of our new Enterprise Resource Planning system, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successfully implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions from inception.
This role includes leading the design, development, and deployment of SAP systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy with Salesforce, Snowflake, Namely, and other enterprise platforms.
JOB DESCRIPTORS
SAP S4 Hana Cloud Implementation:
- Lead Technical Architecture on end-to-end implementation projects of SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud, ensuring successful and timely delivery
- Collaborate with our Solutions Implementer and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives
Integration Management:
- Design and implement integrations between SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud and other enterprise systems, including Salesforce, etc.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems using direct integration or SAP Integration Suite
- Establish foundational application development practices and procedures including technical standards, software-coding standards, tools, and platforms standards
System Customization and Optimization:
- Lead a team to customize SAP systems to meet specific business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
- Identify and implement system optimization opportunities to enhance overall efficiency
- Establish, continually improve and undertake any processes for development, testing, release management, code management, creating and maintaining technical specifications, and other key processes related to application development and integration
Team Leadership:
- Build and provide leadership and guidance to a team of SAP professionals
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive successful project outcomes
- Provide leadership in developing and maintaining data integrity and validity for various applications
- Supervise the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of those applications or other technical solutions as well as the maintenance of existing applications
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, business leaders, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective SAP solutions
- Lead consultations with users and stakeholders to identify requirements for enterprise applications in support of processes and business needs.
Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, configurations, and integrations
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams
- Evaluate current tools and processes in order to constantly improve maintenance and systems availability and provide documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Relevant valid SAP certifications
- SAP Technical Architect with hands-on team mgt experience of a SAP implementation
Techno-functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP SD, FI-CA, SAP BTP, and SAP CPI.
Strong proficiency in Financial Accounting (FI) and Management Accounting (CO), including modules like General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), and Accounts Payable (FI-AP).
In-depth knowledge of FI-CA Billing & Invoice Management, Revenue Recognition, and Accounting processes.
Expertise in Advanced Credit Management, Collections and Disputes Management, and Cash Management.
Proven experience with Sales & Contract Management modules (SD).
Hands-on experience with Payment Integration, including digital payments and customer payment portals.
Expertise in configuring SAP Subscription Billing for subscription-based models, covering recurring billing, usage-based billing, and complex pricing structures.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements, design specifications, and workflows.
Ability to adapt to both technical and functional roles as needed.
Experience working within SOX and SOC2 compliance frameworks.
Solid understanding of SAP best practices and industry standards.
Salesforce integration knowledge is a plus.
Proven ability to drive collaboration across diverse teams and departments.
Experience in converting business and functional requirements into use cases and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
