Title: Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner

Location: Austin, TX (Remote-Required who resides in TX only).

Client: Texas Health and Human Services Commission

Duration: 10+ Months

Description:

This position will work as a business analyst/product owner on applications within the Health and Human Services, Administrative Applications Product Management team. This position will perform the duties of a Business Analyst including requirement gathering, analysis of requirements, development of requirements and design for required system modifications, completing business requirement documents, user stories, and business area collaboration and/or coordination. Will also work with technical teams to coordinate demos, UAT, code releases, and user communication as necessary. Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Some on-call support may be required depending on the project phase.

Required Skills:

12 Years of Business Analyst experience

8 Years of Product Owner role experience

8 Years of Software Application related project experience

8 Years of SQL experience

8 Years of Systems Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)

Preferred Skills:

4 Years of Agile Software Development Methodologies experience

2 Years of Project and/or Product Management experience

1 Year of Case Management experience

1 Year of Jira experience
