  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Video Engineer on VoD (Video on Demand)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of system engineering experience
  • In-depth video engineering knowledge
  • Experience with any combination of the following: DAC, DNCS, EC, VoD, IPTV, cDVR/DVR, MPEG, QAM, DOCSIS, multiplexing, encoding, MAs, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a video operations engineering team responsible for DAA (distributed access architecture).
  • Upgrade legacy hubsites and systems need to new video delivery systems.
  • Enable encoders and provide digital transport
  • Help with dynamic ad insertion.
  • Build new maps on controllers.
  • Perform bulk encryption work.
  • Configure, test, and resolve channel issues on set top boxes.
  • Participate in periodic maintenance window work.
  • Deploy automated solutions and dashboards for video devices that are intuitive and easy to understand.
  • Quickly understand unique and complex platform architectures.
  • Collaborate with internal customers on requirement gathering and clarification to identify opportunities.
  • Solve issues in the production in various databases.
