Position Overview

Arnold Ventures Operational Planning and Data Strategy team (OPD) is an autonomous unit within the larger Arnold Ventures operations team that is responsible for: Cross-ops team coordination and communication with the larger organization; project planning and leadership of cross-operations projects; and design of all customizable software tools used for the collection and monitoring of AV partner relationships (i.e., Salesforce, Quorum, SurveyMonkey, DocuSign). In pursuit of these responsibilities, OPD will identify, develop, and implement data collection and operational processes that deliver maximally feasible efficiency, compliance, and usability to Arnold Ventures operations teams, programmatic teams, and leadership.

Reporting to AV s Salesforce Platform Architect, the Salesforce Administrator will support and enhance AV s Salesforce platform and other technology tools. This position will be based in our Houston, TX office.

Core Responsibilities
Manage new user activation and offboarding and updates to roles, profiles, and permission sets. Provide technical support to Salesforce users
Develop documentation of Salesforce processes and administer staff trainings to help promote system competency and develop the knowledge base for our users
Customize Salesforce to meet organizational needs, including creating and modifying Flows, objects, fields, and page layouts
Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
Oversee data imports, exports, and migrations, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, security, and data integrity checks on the Salesforce platform
Support integrations with other tools and support other systems including DocusignCLM, CVENT, Quorum, and SurveyMonkey Apply, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality
Monitor security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with organizational policies
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes using Salesforce features and best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3 years of experience with Salesforce, including hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Experience with or willingness to learn DocusignCLM, CVENT, Quorum, and/or SurveyMonkey Apply platforms
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201)
Strong understanding of Salesforce products, functionalities, and best practices
Experience with data management and database concepts
Proficiency in creating and managing custom objects, fields, flows, and validation rules
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The salary range for this position will be $95,000-$115,000.
