Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Architect/design, engineer and support our enterprise Azure and AWS environments, ensuring robust network and security design.
  • Continuously analyze and recommend improvements for Azure and AWS cloud network and security.
  • Design, implement, and secure network infrastructure, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and access controls within Azure.
  • Maintain, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot the Azure cloud platform network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cyber and infrastructure teams, Azure service providers, and vendors to develop and implement cutting-edge technical solutions and support processes.
  • Implement client security standards and compliance regulations across Azure network environments.
  • Some contribution to developing and managing automation scripts and workflows to deploy and manage Azure-based infrastructure and applications, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Provide escalated support, ensuring system stability and prompt issue resolution while leading migration projects to Azure cloud.
  • Mentor team members on Azure networking and security solutions, while staying current with evolving technologies through continuous education.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure in a large-scale environment.
  • Profound knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
  • Experience in both Windows and Linux system administration.
  • Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices (e.g., SOC 2, PCI, NIST).
  • Expertise in networking and security engineering, including designing, building, testing, and debugging large-scale enterprise and public cloud networks. Azure networking. Azure Firewalls. Azure Load Balancers, etc.
  • Proficiency in routing and switching, BGP, IPv6, DNS, firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Checkpoint, cloud-native firewalls), Private Links, CDNs, Application Gateways, F5 load balancers, unified threat management, and IPS.
  • Extensive experience in deploying Azure cloud integrations using Express Route, Virtual WAN, Transit Gateway, SDWAN, VPN, and other cloud-solutions specific to Azure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell, Cloud Formation Templates, Postman, and automating security processes or configurations in Azure.
  • Strong background in software-defined networking (SDN) and scripting languages such as Terraform, bash, Python, Ansible and PowerShell.
  • Ability to leverage automation tools to streamline and enhance cloud security and network configurations.
  • Must have working knowledge of Docker, GitHub and GitHub Actions workflows

The Network Engineering team is responsible for the Data Center infrastructure as well as network related Cloud components
