Are you an experienced healthcare professional based in the Twin Cities looking to leverage your knowledge in strategic consulting and training? We're seeking a dedicated Healthcare Business Consultant to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of social care services as a healthcare benefit and the ability to deliver tailored training programs that drive impactful results.

Our audience comprises professionals with varying levels of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in participating in the Juniper network. The consultant will engage with stakeholders in the Twin Cities metro area, ensuring our training programs meet the unique needs of a diverse participant base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training & Development: Develop and deliver professional training programs for adult learners in the healthcare industry, utilizing visual aids, storytelling, and interactive elements to facilitate learning and engagement.
  • Project Management: Lead projects of varying sizes, ensuring all milestones are met on time and deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Healthcare Strategy & Consulting: Provide strategic consulting to community care hubs and community-based organizations around healthcare contracting and compliance, specifically in value-based care models, Star ratings, CAHPS, HEDIS, and Medicare regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with professionals ranging from direct service providers to C-suite executives, addressing their specific training needs and providing expert guidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with organizations focused on social services, community health services, or healthcare risk-bearing entities.
  • Strong familiarity with Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits and billing codes for addressing health-related social needs.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage projects, with a minimum of 3 years in healthcare industry project management.
  • PMP certification is highly preferred.
Skills & Experience:
  • Expert understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and Medicare.
  • Knowledge of value-based care models and healthcare incentives, such as Star ratings, CAHPS, and HEDIS.
  • Strategic consulting experience with community-based organizations and healthcare risk-bearing entities.
  • Ability to create and maintain a high level of CBO (Community-Based Organization) knowledge on healthcare trends and business opportunities.
