The Business Strategy & Analysis Manager is one who thrives in unstructured, ambiguous environments, has a deep appreciation for and understanding of data-driven decisions, and can think strategically to see long-term possibilities. They will play a critical role to maximize value creation and return on investment (ROI) predominantly on TMUS's AI-powered products, platforms, and experiences. This role involves identification of the intersection of unmet customer needs (opportunity), technical feasibility, business objectives, funding availability, and cross-functional stakeholder leadership to deliver against the opportunity. They will help influence leadership decisions for meeting targets through a close partnership with the Sales, Care and Marketing organizations.
The Business Strategy & Analysis Manager will work closely with both cross functional partners and internal operations org to understand key business issues and perform a leading role in identifying viable options, the relevant trade-offs and implications to recommend the best solutions. The role will help communicate these complex analyses in a concise manner to drive effective execution of initiatives. The Business Strategy & Analysis Manager must leverage a high level of business acumen, critical thinking and analysis, deep partner knowledge and understanding, as well as TMUS market(s) strategy to ensure that risk is mitigated while revenue potential is maximized. The Business Strategy & Analysis Manager thrives on working on a team of analytical professionals responsible for dissecting complex problems and utilizing facts and data to deliver clear conclusions and recommendations. Excellent leadership communication skills are also critical to the success of this role. Through relationship building, this role will foster alliances and offer business expertise across the TFB organization.

Essential Functions
  • Helps guide the strategic vision of the business. Will help structure and perform analyses, extract and analyze data, and tackle ambiguous and complex problems to optimize value accretive activity within TFB. Translates analysis into meaningful business insights. Builds potential options and actionable recommendations for the long-term strategy of AI-driven products in TFB.
  • Fosters partnerships across teams to develop comprehensive understanding of critical business needs, identifies key issues, and structures problem-solving approaches accordingly. Effectively collaborates and communicates cross-functionally to build buy-in and influence strategic vision
  • Help construct executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analysis.
  • Will convey knowledge and background to other team members, partners and vendors
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of strategic frameworks, industry trends, and corporate and customer drivers in order to improve, reengineer or maintain channel performance.


Qualifications

Minimum Required
  • 4-6 years analytics experience with strong technical skills and the ability to creatively apply them on complex, long-term business problems
  • 3+ years-experience in complex project management, including engaging with and earning buy-in from key stakeholders, creating roadmaps, project plans and tracking and reporting progress.
  • 3+ years of business process improvement/project analysis experience
  • Demonstrated comfort level in analyzing large sets of data, and proven experience with problem-solving, financial modeling and business case development. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to report accurately, meet tight deadlines, work on projects independently, be self-motivated and multi-task.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education
Bachelor's degree required; technical major (Finance, Economics, Statistics / Data Science, Engineering or similar) preferred

MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Base Pay Range: $77,900 - $140,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
