The ITS Engineer will be a contributing member of the Mobility Support team that is focused on our hosted cloud offering. The technical needs will need to be heavily geared towards understanding, managing, and supporting the Mobility product.

DUTIES

  • Support / Troubleshoot our current Centracs Mobility offering. A very high knowledge of services is required.
  • Understanding of how the architecture interconnects to the hosted cloud.
  • Handle and resolve customer's complaints via phone and e-mail.
  • Explain how to use Econolite s Systems Software Products and associated hardware.
  • Enter trouble tickets into Econolite s tracking system.
  • Provide technical input to software development, based upon field product performance.
  • Monitor Technical Support Website for new postings and promptness of replies.
  • Elevate issues (as needed) to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A 4-year technical degree or 4+ years technical industry experience.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Understanding of Traffic control operations is required.
  • Computer literate with common applications such as: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Understand remote access technologies. i.e. Cisco VPN, Nortel VPN, Microsoft Remote Desktop.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems at both a Server and PC level.
  • Good public speaking and oral presentation skills; Good listening skills; Good problem analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to write with clarity and accuracy.
  • Ability to build a long-term relationship with the customer. Has empathy for the customers situation.

Business Travel

Ability to travel as requested to meet business needs up to 10%

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
