Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Logistics Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimizing logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics Planning and Coordination: Assist in designing and implementing logistics plans to optimize supply chain operations. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transportation and warehousing processes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports with actionable insights and recommendations to senior consultants and management.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Support the evaluation and selection of vendors and suppliers. Monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships to ensure service excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and process improvements. Identify and propose solutions to streamline logistics operations and reduce costs.
  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries and concerns related to logistics and transportation. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Project Support: Assist in managing logistics projects from inception through completion. Coordinate tasks, track progress, and ensure that projects meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related role. Experience with logistics software and tools is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
