What you'll do:

  • Develop and schedule engaging content across social media platforms to promote episodes, guest appearances, and special events.

  • Instagram
  • Twitter/X
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • YouTube (for podcast clips)
  • Analyze social media metrics to track engagement and growth, providing regular reports and suggesting adjustments to strategy.
  • Assist in the development of promotional campaigns to boost listenership and increase podcast subscribers.
  • Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and discussions relevant to the podcast’s niche to increase visibility.
  • Collaborate with the podcast team to brainstorm and execute strategies for listener growth, including influencer outreach and partnerships.

What we're looking for:

  • Passion for podcasts and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools, such as:
  • Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later (for scheduling)
  • Canva, Adobe Spark, or Photoshop (for graphic design)
  • Headliner or Wavve (for audiograms)
  • Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, Twitter Analytics (for performance tracking)
  • Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in content creation or social media marketing.
  • Knowledge of podcast industry trends and strategies for audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut) is a plus.

What you'll get:

  • Hands-on experience in social media marketing and podcast growth strategies.
  • Opportunity to expand your portfolio and network within the podcasting and digital media industry.
  • Flexible schedule and remote work environment.
  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced marketers and podcast professionals.
  • A letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship.
