RETTEW is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Civil Engineer to join our Municipal Team as a Project Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful municipal projects in south-central Pennsylvania.

As a Project Manager, you will:

- Collaborate with Township and Borough clients to address planning and infrastructure needs, including streets, traffic, bridges, storm sewers, stormwater management, parks and recreation, funding/grants, zoning, and GIS/mapping.

- Oversee the review of subdivision and land development plans.

- Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality municipal engineering services.

- Attend client meetings and provide expert advice and solutions.

Applicants for this role are required to possess a background in civil engineering consulting, along with experience and knowledge of Pennsylvania's regulatory environment.

In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of RETTEW's Municipal Engineering team in the south-central Pennsylvania region.

Key attributes we are seeking in candidates include:

- Knowledge of the south-central Pennsylvania municipal and land development market

- Ability to fully support clients by attending meetings as necessary

- Previous experience as a consulting engineer for municipalities in Pennsylvania

- Ability to handle multiple municipal clients, project budgets, and manage a team of professionals

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Active involvement in professional societies and organizations related to municipal and land development markets

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering

- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Pennsylvania

- Developed/mature client representation skills required

- Ability to quickly and accurately understand and assess situations, make determinations and provide feedback

- Minimum 5 years of successful experience and position progression in civil/municipal engineering/consulting

- Experience in water/wastewater and/or land development projects a plus

- Working knowledge and understanding of PAMPC as well as other federal, state and local regulations

- Auto CAD and/or GIS experience a plus
