About the Project:
This project is a confidential, multi-year initiative aimed at creating a new operating model for a Med Tech Company. This project seeks to develop a scalable, agile technology organization, incorporating third-party products while balancing operational efficiency and speed. The ultimate goal is to have the new company up and running in 2-3 years, fostering innovative engineering, strong operations, and a customer-centric business culture. This role is critical in building out a new Product Services model for a start up initiative. There will be times where Project Management skills and Program Management skills will be needed to deliver, in addition to Product Lead focus.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a critical role in Agile Product Development this will be shaping and driving the development of a new operating model. You will be responsible for working through ambiguity, defining product roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve long-term success. We are seeking a leader with strong healthcare experience and product management expertise.

Acting as a bridge between the Product Manager and the development teams, they ensure that the team delivers valuable, customer-centric features while maintaining alignment with the
product's overall goals.

The Product Owner manages the product backlog, prioritizes features, and works with the team in an iterative process to deliver continuous value to customers and the business. Their focus is on helping build out the executable roadmap and facilitate execution, driving day-to-day activities, and making decisions that optimize product development for maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with the goals strategic objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, business teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions, integrating third-party products into the overall platform.
Ambiguity Navigation: Manage and thrive in uncertain, evolving environments by creating structure, processes, and strategies that drive clarity and progress.
Agile Framework: Lead the product development process within an agile framework, ensuring continuous improvement and responsiveness to organizational needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between key stakeholders, ensuring transparency, fostering collaboration, and facilitating timely decision-making.
Team Leadership & Development: Contribute to building three distinct cultures: innovative engineering, robust operational capabilities, and a customer-obsessed business mindset.
Process Improvement: Balance speed with a focus on enhancing underlying processes, rather than merely executing a lift and shift from one platform to another.
Healthcare Expertise: Leverage healthcare domain knowledge to anticipate needs and guide the product towards solutions that meet regulatory, compliance, and market demands.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in large-scale digital transformation projects or creating new operating models in a corporate environment.
Experience in managing product teams within agile organizations and working with external consultants or staffing partners.
Strong understanding of confidentiality and ability to maintain discretion during high-profile projects.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a product management role, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex projects and drive success in ambiguous environments.
Strong experience working within the healthcare industry, including familiarity with healthcare systems, regulations, and market trends.
Agile experience: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with agile methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Proven track record of managing external vendors and incorporating third-party products into a cohesive technology solution.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate challenges, and drive long-term commitment.
Ability to balance speed of execution with the need for meaningful process improvement.
Strong understanding of building and maintaining cultures within engineering, operations, and customer-centric business functions.
