Job Summary

The IT Automation Engineer is responsible for creating scripts and playbooks aligned with the organization's strategic vision, growth, and direction.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient at using Ansible, Terraform, Power Shell and DevOps Pipeline to build automation scripts and playbooks that deliver operational and resiliency processes for cross functional IT Teams.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge to cross functional teams on how to use the automation tools and to create and manage their own scripts and playbooks.
  • Create standard processes, procedures, and documentation for creating automation scripts and automation playbooks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and strategic vendors to create automation scripts and playbooks required to automate operational and resiliency tasks.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and adopt new features and capabilities if relevant and can improve efficiencies and processes.
  • Create documentation explaining what the automation scripts do and the repositories of where the scripts reside.

Job Qualifications

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Required Experience
1-4 years of IT technical experience with IT enterprise infrastructure.
Industry certifications preferred.

Pay Range: $54,373.27 - $117,808.76 / ANNUAL
