Brief Description

The purpose of this position is to perform and oversee maintenance and construction functions for Brazos River Authority (BRA) parks, facilities, and equipment. This is accomplished by supervising personnel; completing construction projects; inspecting BRA property and performing maintenance functions; ensuring adequate equipment and supplies are available when needed; and performing flood gate operations when required. Responsibilities include maintaining a safety-oriented workplace and facilitating employee training; operating heavy equipment; performing equipment and vehicle maintenance and record keeping; assisting with the annual budget preparation; interacting with other employees and the public; and any other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements

  • Minimum six years' experience
  • Valid Class C Drivers License and Good Driving Record
  • Preferred: CDL License



  • High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.
