Job Description
  • Communicate with peers and supervisors including documentation of work, meetings, and decisions.
  • Implement the controller and evaluate performance for electric vehicle powertrain propulsion system.
  • Design, specification and evaluation of E/E architectures and network topologies for automotive applications.
  • Verify powertrain electrical and control system function/performance meets specifications based on validation result, recommend changes or improvements to hardware, software, or calibration.
  • Work with mechanical team and electrical systems team and info team to ensure powertrain system operates as intended.
  • Quickly diagnose vehicle issues and work with other teams to determine root cause and develop solution.
  • Research, design, simulate, specify, implement, debug, and test control and estimation algorithms for various features related to the overall longitudinal motion of the vehicle.
  • Willing to learn and work on different aspects of vehicle electronics and powertrain systems.
  • Travel required to support plant operation as well as customer trouble shooting from time to time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup company environment.
