Job Summary:

Work with the QA team to maintain and improve the levels of Quality Excellence promoted at Automator Group.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for our software products
  • Participate in creating and maintenance of Requirements Trainability Matrix
  • Identify system bugs across various testing phases, including feature testing, integration testing, and regression testing
  • Perform API testing to validate system functionality, data integrity and performance
  • Maintain and enhance the existing QA processes, tools, and documentation, including Jira workflows and issue tracking
  • Maintain testing documentation when applicable
  • Participate in defining automation test coverage
  • Participate in meetings such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking solutions such as Zephyr, Jira or similar
  • Understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches in a software company with short release cycles
  • Proficiency testing APIs using tools like Postman or comparable alternatives.
  • Experience in writing test scenarios, test cases and test plans
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Environment: Hybrid-Remote;

60% in Office (Midtown Toronto) 40% Work from Home
