Locations: Holland, MI.

Job Summary:
This Job is responsible for ensuring Organization meets the established goals, KPI, Mission etc. and complies with QMS (Quality management system) thru audit, communication, and collaboration with internal members, the organization, and HQ. Verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of the organization. Communicate effectively within all levels of organization to discuss and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Quality Specialist to work at our state of the art Lithium-Ion battery plant in beautiful Holland, MI. This position will be responsible for work that includes but not limited:
- Data Analysis and creative problem solving
- Project and change management
- Audit and support organization quality standard compliance periodically.
- Train operators to perform inspection equipment continuously
- Train operators to perform components/product incoming/inline/outgoing inspection procedure continuously
- Monitor and continuously improve the SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Close communication with multi-functional teams to follow up and make orders, reports required from internal organization and HQ.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Self-starter, motivator, and must be well organized
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a prompt and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical engineering or Chemistry, Mechanical, Material, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic engineering or equivalent, relevant experience
- Positive, dedicated attitude and demonstrated effectiveness in achieving given goals within due dates
Experience
- 1-3 years plus years of experience in related field
- Need and capability of finding improvement ideas for yield in components and inspections
- Experience and knowledge of Control plan, CTQ, CTP, SPC, Core tools of automotive industry plus.
- Knowledge of automated equipment troubleshooting and production data analysis capability a plus
Skills
- Communication (verbal and written)
- Work in a team environment
- MS office and Minitab a plus
