Job Description:

We are seeking a strong coder with expertise in TypeScript and Next.js to join our team. This role involves working onsite at least 1-2 days a week in our Santa Monica office. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing for consumer brands, familiarity with Shopify integration, and A/B testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development: Revamp the client website to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • UI/UX Contribution: Contribute to the internal website, focusing on UI/UX improvements.
  • Marketing Integration: Integrate marketing and sales-related plugins, such as Shopify and blog forums, into the website.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, which consists of about 10 members, to implement A/B tests and other marketing strategies.
  • Leadership Potential: Take over the website development from external partners, potentially leading a team in the future.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js.
  • Marketing Experience: Background in marketing for consumer brands, with experience in Shopify integration and A/B testing.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with 3.js, p5.js, and WebGL is a plus.
  • Project Management: Some project management experience or capability, with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience: Around 5 years of relevant experience. Leadership experience is not required but is beneficial.
