About the Role:

The Healthcare Payer Enrollment Specialist/Coordinator provides critical support to the payer enrollment team by assisting with the tracking and maintenance of healthcare provider enrollment applications within a tracking system, Credential Steam. This role is specifically in support of a workflow migration and will support data validation, reporting and data cleanup/adjustment activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be able to take direction and execute against a plan with limited oversight. This candidate must also have a basic understanding of healthcare payer systems.

The Details: This role is Temporary, full-time, and remote. Eight (8) week minimum assignment with reassessment for possible extension at 6 weeks

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with tracking and maintaining healthcare provider enrollment applications within the Credential Stream system
  • Supporting the payer enrollment team in the workflow migration process by ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the transition
  • Performing data validation activities to ensure all enrollment records are complete and up to date in the tracking system
  • Assisting in reporting and monitoring enrollment status, highlighting discrepancies or issues for correction
  • Conducting data cleanup and adjustment tasks to align with new system workflows and ensuring consistency across records
  • Collaborating with the payer enrollment team to execute tasks as directed, ensuring timely completion of assigned responsibilities
  • Communicating regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on data validation and cleanup progress
  • Generating and reviewing reports related to the enrollment data, identifying areas for improvement or action
  • Supporting ad hoc tasks related to the workflow migration, including testing, documentation, and data quality checks

Knowledge:

  • Associate s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and execute tasks with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and support system migration efforts
  • Basic understanding of healthcare payer systems and provider enrollment processes
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing updates on task progress

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare payer enrollment, data management, or administrative support
  • Familiarity with Credentialing and Payer Systems, such as Credential Stream or similar tracking systems
  • Experience with data validation, cleanup, and reporting within healthcare or related industries
  • Proficiency in data entry, Excel, and reporting tools, with strong attention to detail for managing large data sets

Pay Range:

  • This is a temporary position with an hourly $20-$25/hour depending on qualifications
