Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Client Relationships will play a crucial role in expanding our Office of the CFO practice by identifying and engaging new clients in the private equity community. This position demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, private equity, and client relationship management. You will lead business development efforts, focusing on growing our service offerings, including fractional leadership, turnaround and restructuring, technical accounting, and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client acquisition and relationship management efforts for the Office of the CFO practice.
  • Develop strategies to expand the practice's footprint within private equity-backed companies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and finance executives, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Drive business development initiatives that support the growth of service lines such as:
  • Fractional & Interim Leadership
  • Technology and Transformation (CFO / CTO)
  • Turnaround and Restructuring
  • Technical Accounting & Strategic Financial Planning
  • Transaction Execution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of client services.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and opportunities to position East 57th Street Partners as a leader in the private equity space.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Big 4 accounting, private equity, or finance consulting.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships with PE-backed companies and C-suite executives.
  • Strong business development acumen with a history of driving service line growth.
  • Expertise in strategic financial planning, technical accounting, and transaction execution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
