The 3D printing industry is one of the most exciting and fastest-growing industries in the world today and Polymaker is part of the momentum. Polymaker develops, produces and markets high value materials for 3D printing. Our company is growing rapidly and can be described as young, open and energetic.

Polymaker has been active in the US since 2013. We have built up a network of channel partners who serve end-users from all over the United States. Our end-users are hobbyists, professionals and industrial customers who 3D print high quality parts using our filaments.

From our 40,000 SF facility in Missouri City, TX, we currently manage the production and distribution of 3D printing filament for the North America region.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Planner prepares manufacturing production schedules with respect to supply chain and manufacturing constraints. The Production Planner will work closely with the supply chain team and manufacturing team to understand challenges and build a robust production plan to satisfy demand.

POSITION TYPE

Full Time (Exempt)

The Production Planner reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

In-Person (NOT hybrid/ NOT remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand bill of materials
  • Validate Bill of Material accuracy as new products and product inputs are introduced into ERP.
  • Iteratively plan production to meet demand based on developing execution issues or material delays
  • Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing daily to ensure plan is executed and risks are proactively identified
  • Plan and communicate raw material needs to support production while incorporating inventory-control constraints
  • Generate, edit, and close production work orders to support production plan
  • Data Entry of Demand Requirements into ERP system
  • Ensure New Product Introduction is communicated to manufacturing and supported with sufficient input materials

Key Expectations:

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar) or 3-5 years of experience supporting a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Power BI experience to generate visualizations and reports
  • Good understanding of ERP and MRP functionality
  • 0% travel required
  • Willingness to learn and adopt core values of the company

Preferred Skills:

  • Odoo experience a plus
  • Oracle, SAP MM, or QAD experience
