We are looking for Rewind Operator(s) to grow our team with people who share our energy and passion to create the best experience for our customers!

Job Title: 2nd Shift Rewind Operator

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:

Performs traditional Flexo print rewind functions to convert prime labels.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate label rewinder to produce job according to specification.
Prepare machines for slitting and rewinding.
Load substrate, install tooling and rewind press rolls.
Ensure that print, die cutting, and label count meet specifications.
Web press rolls through the rewinder and adjust feed and tension controls.
Search for and correct problems.
Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of substrate.
Oil and clean the rewinder and make minor repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance.

Requirements:

Proven experience as Rewind Operator or comparable skills
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
Resourcefulness and problem-solving
A team player with great communication skills
Physical strength and stamina must be able to lift rewound rolls up to 25 lbs. and must be able to load printed rolls into rewinder up to 150lbs.

Education Requirements: Highschool Diploma (or equivalent)
