Controls Engineer

As a Controls Engineer, you'll lead the way in designing, programming, installing, starting up, and fixing automated industrial control systems. You'll need a solid grasp of process automation in chemical plants, using systems like DCS, PLC, and SCADA, with expertise in Layers of Protection Analysis and SILs. Ideally, you've worked with ultrahigh purity materials for semiconductors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritize safety and precision daily.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain plant control systems with efficiency and safety in mind.
  3. Excel at troubleshooting control hardware and software independently.
  4. Actively contribute to design reviews and PHAs.
  5. Configure and program PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  6. Handle hazardous chemicals in manufacturing settings.
  7. Establish engineering design standards and assist with documentation.
  8. Conduct loop and interlock tests, including yearly ISO checks.
  9. Complete all assigned training modules.
  10. Understand electrical distribution and power management in control systems.
  11. Fulfill all assigned tasks promptly.
