Job Description
As a Remote Integration Engineer for Verizon, specializing in Samsung equipment, you will be responsible for the seamless integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. Your role will focus on deploying and maintaining Verizon's network with a strong emphasis on Samsung telecommunications equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This is a remote position that requires a high degree of technical expertise, coordination with cross-functional teams, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Samsung Network Equipment Integration: Perform remote integration and configuration of Samsung 4G/5G radios, base stations, and core network elements into Verizon's network.
Testing and Commissioning: Conduct end-to-end testing, commissioning, and validation of equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with Verizon's network standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to network performance, connectivity, and hardware/software malfunctions.
Firmware and Software Upgrades: Remotely execute firmware and software upgrades on Samsung network equipment to ensure compatibility and enhanced performance.
Network Optimization: Analyze network performance metrics and implement adjustments to optimize system functionality and reduce latency or outages.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation and technical reports of integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including field engineers, network architects, and customer support teams, to ensure smooth deployment and handover of services.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all integrations adhere to Verizon's security protocols and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience with Samsung telecommunications equipment in a network integration role.
Strong knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G networks, protocols, and architecture.
Familiarity with Verizon's network infrastructure and standards is a plus.
Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and network management systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other telecommunications vendors (Nokia, Ericsson, etc.).
Understanding of RF planning and network optimization techniques.
Certifications in Cisco, Juniper, or Samsung-related equipment.
Proven experience with Samsung telecommunications equipment in a network integration role.
Strong knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G networks, protocols, and architecture.
Familiarity with Verizon's network infrastructure and standards is a plus.
Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and network management systems.
