Job Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing the technical infrastructure, eliminating security risks, and determining business requirements while leading a team of IT professionals.

The IT Director will report directly to the Executive Director.

Essential Functions

  1. Leads development and implementation processes for the organization s IT systems and department.
  2. Identifies and eliminates security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.
  3. Analyzes business requirements of IT needs and systems.
  4. Manages configurations between offices such as VPN connections, firewall troubleshooting, WAN traffic, etc.
  5. Coordinates the support of new network equipment including hardware replacement and hardware failures.
  6. Coordinate SharePoint cloud migration.
  7. Oversee and manages new office setup and new employee setup
  8. Performs and oversees software installation and upgrades; maintains licenses for department and organization.
  9. Evaluate and recommends purchases of all Technology for the entire organization.
  10. Leads contracting, and negotiations related to IT
  11. Creates processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support systems
  12. Leads contracting, and negotiations related to IT
  13. Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
  14. Oversees project management and development of applications
  15. Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements:

1. Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related Field.

2. Minimum six years of experience working in IT operations and leading IT teams.

3. Strong background in cybersecurity

4. Experience in regulations and compliance

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

6. Proficient in the latest technology for IT systems and management (VOIP, Mobile, SaaS, Cloud, etc).

7. Experience with network protocols, security, and management.

8. Experienced with:

- ISP configuration or change or public IP

- How to overcome DNS issues

- DHCP troubleshooting

- Configuration, upgrades, and support of switches, and router upgrades to new operating systems or user interface

- Migration of current user profiles to Intune (Azure-Cloud)

9. Travel is required.

Working conditions

1. This job requires being on-site full-time.

2. This position operates in a professional work environment.

Physical requirements

  1. This is a largely sedentary role, however, some lifting of office supplies of up to 50 pounds may be required.
  2. Must be able to travel throughout Florida, as needed.
