Job Description
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Data Modeler to work on a 12+ month contract position in Westlake, TX, or Smithfield, RI. The pay rate is in the $60 to $64/hour range. This position is available for w-2 only. It is a hybrid role, with onsite work required every other week. Candidates local to the Metro Dallas, TX, area or the Metro Providence, RI, area are highly preferred. No travel is required.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to design and build scalable data models.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
Analyze business requirements to ensure data models meet performance and reporting needs.
Coach and mentor a team of data modelers to ensure adherence to standards.
Work closely with the business to build flexible models that enhance product offerings and time to market.
Experience Requirements:
Strong experience with data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3NF, Dimensional).
Ability to work with data modeling tools like Powerdesigner, Oracle Designer, or Erwin.
Solid SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including explaining data structures to non-technical audiences.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
